CMMOTA is excited to announce the launch of the first Canadian School Approval System (SAS) for Manual Osteopathic Therapy (MOT) educational programs! The main objective of the SAS is to safeguard the publics’ health and wellbeing by assuring Canadian MOT schools are graduating as safe, ethical, efficient and professional manual osteopathic practitioners.

Below are schools that have successfully completed
the approval process:

The Manual Osteopathic College of Canada is a part of the Health and Wellness Colleges of Canada (HWCC). HWCC has been educating Canada’s next generation of health care professionals since 2001.

During the Spring of 2016 research commenced into the potential of opening a new educational program involving manual osteopathic therapy for learners with previous healthcare training. MOCC then went through the processes to become an approved and licensed program with Alberta Advanced Education and the Private Training Institution Branch (BC). In February 2021, MOCC moved into Saskatchewan with the approval of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Private Vocational Schools branch.

MOCC offers student-centred education and graduates safe, confident, ethical, professional, and effective Manual Osteopathic Therapists.
