Hiring a 2200 Hour Mobile Registered Massage Therapist

We are looking for a 2200 Hour Registered Massage Therapist to join our mobile team in Calgary as an independent contractor, and provide therapeutic massage treatments to our clients in their homes or occasionally, places of work. This is an opportunity to supplement your existing practice.

The ideal candidate for this position has at least 2 years of experience in the field, using various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, with a preference for those who also practice lymphatic drainage, reflexology, and/or FST™ as these are common modality requests.

• You have a reliable vehicle and are comfortable driving in all types of weather.
• You own a massage table and can transport it and your massage supplies in and out of clients’ homes.
• You have some schedule flexibility and are available some evenings and occasionally weekends.
• You are ok with animals, as many clients have pets in their homes.
• You are a member in good standing with a massage association and possess a license to practice in Calgary.

The successful candidate will be able to assess client’s needs and provide appropriate treatments that promote relaxation and well-being. We are looking for an individual passionate about helping people feel their best and committed to providing the highest quality of service.

Responsibilities:

• Possess a strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Ability to work independently and in a different location multiple times a day.
• Ability to assess the needs of the client and create a treatment plan, tailor the session accordingly, provide self-care recommendations and rebooking options.
• Be able to use a variety of massage techniques, such as Swedish, deep tissue, cupping, and ideally other modalities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, respecting their home or office space.
